Edgewood’s choir is a great way for those who love to sing to use their gifts for the Lord. This group is open to all members of our congregation (high school age and up) and no audition is required. We meet on Wednesday nights from 6:30-8:00 in the sanctuary and childcare is provided for all rehearsals. The choir helps lead worship on Sundays twice a month. This team makes up a great family and it is a blessing to be a part of such a loving group.

This group is open to high school age and up and requires a meeting with the worship pastor before joining. The orchestra joins with the praise band on choir Sundays for a full and powerful accompaniment. The orchestra also has a huge role in the annual Christmas program.

These groups make up our core instrumental accompaniment for our worship services. We have a rotating schedule to cover all the Sun-day morning and evening services. We typically use acoustic and electric guitars, piano and keyboard, bass and drums. These positions require a meeting with the worship pastor, but we’re always looking for new people to join the bands!

These strong vocalists join with the worship pastor in leading the congregational singing on Sunday mornings and evenings. These singers serve on a rotating basis but preference is given to choir members. Praise team vocalists need to be quick learners and, even though it’s not required, having harmonizing skills is a huge plus!

This band was formed to focus on outreach events and pushes to have a very  modern sound. Eternal Noise has provided music for many Coffee House Praise events as well as our summer Nights at the Park. Eternal Noise rehearses regularly and is always looking for somewhere to play!

AllDay is a select group of vocalists pulled from the choir. They rehearse twice a month and are scheduled to sing specials and lead worship regularly.

These workers are a huge asset to every worship service by assisting with equipment setup and tear-down. They’re responsible for running the lyrics, sound, and lights for the services. There are differing levels in which to serve and if you’re interested, we’ll find one that will fit your skills and desires.

These men serve to welcome people into the sanctuary. They help in various ways during the worship service by passing out bulletins, collecting the offering, and assisting visitors.

This team heads up the decorations for the sanctuary and the entire church. They are always looking for fresh ideas and extra help… especially when the holidays come around.

Please contact the church office or Worship Pastor Tim McCarty if you are interested in being a part of any of these ministries.

The drama ministry has the leading role in our annual Christmas program. But, we also have a variety of opportunities throughout the year. Skits within our worship services can help people connect with God’s truth in powerful ways. If you are a natural ham or just want to give it a shot, let us know!

This is a friendly team of volunteers who man the main entrances and the Welcome Center every Sunday morning. Many times these are the first people visitors meet when they come to Edgewood. The greeters are a huge asset for helping visitors find their way around the church.
